The Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) helps businesses and individuals associated with Australia's manufacturing industry with various activities. We keep businesses and individuals informed about the latest developments and trends in the industry through various channels and platforms and help their businesses to flourish.

AMTIL was formed in 1999 from the combination of the Institute of Machine Tools Australia (established in 1945) and the Australian Machine Tool Association (established in 1954). Our credibility within the industry is built upon our deep roots within the manufacturing community in Australia and a team of highly credentialed and dedicated individuals whose role is to ensure you are connected, informed and given an excellent opportunity to grow.

We are key participants in a variety of Government initiatives to support manufacturing in Australia. We operate industry sub-groups such as the Additive Manufacturing Network, run trade missions and represent Australian manufacturing at international events. Additionally, we provide exclusive member benefits through partnerships with approved service providers. Through our projects and initiatives, AMTIL is constantly seeking methods to assist our members and the manufacturing community, in general, in achieving their business goals and ambitions.
